December 8, 2016, will mark the start of a sabbatical from my active practice. On December 28, 2016, we will officially close Women for Women, PC.

I realize and apologize for the immediate impact that these changes will have for you. However, after practicing for over 26 years, I realize that I cannot continue to practice Holistic/Integrative/Functional Medicine, which is my passion, within the current model of accepting insurance or discounting my fees. I have wanted to provide the best care to all...no matter their circumstances.

Taking a hard look at this has forced me to make this decision, and at the same time, it will give me the opportunity to take some time off, recharge and retool. I want to be still so that I can hear how God wants me to serve going forward. This is a wonderful opportunity for me to think and allow my ideas and ongoing education to crystallize and expand.

Perhaps, in the near future, I will return with a smaller practice or some other venture in which I can support and continue to serve you. I am not sure where I will be located, but as soon as I know, you will be the first to know. Stay tuned to my twitter feed, @DrFeleciaDawson and Facebook Page for updates.

In closing, I hope to have the opportunity of continuing to serve you in my new reincarnation. In addition, I want to thank all the incredible women who have served with me at Women for Women over the years. I cannot do what I do without the team that surrounds me. To my current team—Rozina, Yajaira, Leah, Hilary, Latrice and Cathy—I thank you for your hard work, customer service, loyalty and love. I will remember fondly our good times. May God’s peace and blessings follow you always.

With much love and gratitude,

Felecia L. Dawson, MD
